Give Your People a Track to Run On |
The secret to successful networking is to develop a
properly functioning system.
Quick Tip! |
Use the
"two foot" rule. Smile and talk to anyone within 2 feet of you!
Everone is a prospective member! |
- Nothing happens unless you talk to people.
- Present them with the genuine opportunity found in NEWAYS!
- Teach them to use the products.
- Become a product of the products yourself. Lead by
example.
- Follow a specific game plan.
- Recruit people who want the opportunity.
- Follow the 80-20 Program found in the Retailing Section.
- Work closely with those who deserve your help - those who are
willing to do the things you ask them to do. Twenty % of the people do 80% of the
business, so spend 80% of your time with them.
- Show your people a proven, duplicatable track for them to
share with their Downline.
- Introduce them to the products and the opportunity, either
one-on-one (with you and them), two on one (with you and your Sponsor or an experienced
associate there to support you) or at a presentation.
- Take your prospect to a meeting to validate the opportunity in
a way that they can see for themselves why NEWAYS offers such remarkable avenues for
success.
- See that they get an in-depth New Distributor Orientation.
There will always be a need to maintain order in your life.
The general tendency (it's human nature) is to fall back into your old patterns.
If you do not continue to reassess your potential, your new habits, goals, and
objectives you will quite naturally plunge back into the old rut! "A rut is a grave
with the ends kicked out."
- "That which we persist in doing becomes easier. Not
that the nature of the deed has changed, but that the task becomes more comfortable to
pursue."
- Review the "Sponsoring" section of your manual or
this website. Carefully go through each section. Make notes on how you can build
your business.
- What to look for in a potential Distributor.
- The initial steps in training your new Distributor.
- Sponsoring by example: Be the Sponsor you would like to
have. Make a list of what you would like your Sponsor to be and do to help
you. You become that to your Downline.
- Caring and sharing. Commit yourself to making your
first-line Distributor successful. Break away from the pressure of having to sponsor
out of necessity and jump into the process of sponsoring because you honestly care about
the people with whom you are dealing.
Let your people know how much you care about networking the
NEWAYS Opportunity. Practice and teach good mentoring habits that you can
share by example with your new Distributors.
Now is a good time to remind you of the dynamics involved in
finding five strong, seriously dedicated individuals who, like yourself, want to be
associated with MLM. You'll recognize them when you meet them because they sparkle with an
air of excitement.
- They are the people next door.
- They are the best teacher you ever had in school.
- They work with you at the office, help you with your taxes,
care for your teeth, play golf with you at the club, serve on the county board, answer
your legal quandaries, make things happen in the community, and yes, help you tend your
kids, and bless your lives as friends and relatives.
- They are the ones you love and respect most.
- Now that you have found NEWAYS, you have an obligation to help
them find it too.
- Find five or six sincere people who want to get serious with
the business. Sponsor, train and encourage them to go out and work with five
each. When you have built your own organization with sufficient width and depth help
them find their five. Then help them build deep.
This duplicates your efforts through the dynamics of
multiplication. Consider the power of one: If you tell two people about the
products and NEWAYS Opportunity, and they tell two each down three levels, you will
duplicate your efforts by 16. But if you share the opportunity with one more and
those three each share with three down three generations, you wind up with 81 in your
organization instead of 16.
- Imagine what will evolve when each of those five you introduce
to the NEWAYS Opportunity develop their own dynamic organizations with five, five, and
five. Can you visualize the impact that will have on your life and the lives of
everyone else in your organization?
- Building a powerful downline takes time and hard work.
It requires sacrifice and discipline. There is no free ride. You must put in
the time at the beginning of your MLM career, invest in marketing tools and sales aids,
study the literature, use the products, and learn the trade. This will probably
involve going so far as to give up a lot of former pleasures and time wasters just to
cover the bases of responsibility you have taken upon yourself in behalf of those who are
depending upon your expertise and growth in the business. Work as if you had
invested your life savings in this business.
- There are many who do not have your vision. Their
"better safe than sorry" attitude is counterproductive. It is up to you to
take them by the hand and lead them to an appropriate view of their real potential.
- Each NEWAYS Distributor is uniquely different. No two
are alike. Some may seem to fly on the wings of eagles while others find
hummingbirds or sparrows more to their liking. Each can fly as high and as far as
they choose.
Did you review your goals today? You should
automatically be doing that each day, make it second nature. As with all new habits,
"Do the thing you want to build into a new habit pattern every day."
Continue that pattern consistently for a minimum of 60 days and without fail, the
new patterns will take over.
- A good rule of thumb to follow was coined by William James:
"Perhaps the most important thing you have to learn in life is the ability to do the
thing you have to do, when it has to be done, (how it ought to be done), whether you like
it or not!"
- You should now become more aware of the dynamics involved in
conducting your own Mutual Support Marketing meeting. These network marketing meetings are
tremendously powerful in helping people understand the Marketing Plan and other important
information and in increasing motivation. They also help Distributors build their
organizations and grow with the program.
- Always arrange your schedule so you can attend your Sponsor's
network marketing meetings as well. The information you receive from your upline can then
be shared with your downline, and so on, throughout your networking organization.
- These meetings are designed to inform and train your
first-level Distributors just as you have been and will continue to be trained by your
Sponsor. Hold these meetings on alternate weeks.
- Encourage your first-level Distributors to invite their
first-level Distributors to attend your meetings until such time that they are holding
their own networking meetings. Start holding these meetings in your home or someone
else's home.
- Eventually you will want to start holding regular training
meetings. The synergy and excitement of these meetings create useful tools for
building and maintaining your business several levels deep.
- Develop ideas to help build your business by phone.
NEWAYS Mutual Support Marketing lends itself to the best telemarketing concepts.
- Three-way conference calls can boost recruiting efforts.
Work closely with your Sponsor. His/her knowledge and experience is invaluable.
- Other experienced NEWAYS Distributors would be happy to share
their expertise with you and your contacts. Don't impose on them excessively but
give them an opportunity to share.
- When setting the appointment, be sure to clear the time and
circumstance of your three-way call with your backup specialist.
- Be sure you attend the Corporate Training Seminar nearest you
for better upline communication.
When your people see you as a strongly committed Sponsor they
know they have someone in their corner making things happen. To help them become the
best possible Sponsors, NEWAYS Mutual Support Marketing training materials can lead your
people to the quality of success they will be seeking. By providing constant goal
orientation and by learning everything you possibly can about the Marketing Plan, your
people will look to you for the guidance they may need.
