A. Building Your
Business |
Home meetings and home product classes were discussed in
earlier sections. By now you should have already had your first one. Home classes are the
driving force of MLM.
- Go over your list of first-level Distributors. Make sure they
are going through their training. You should be working them through this same material.
- Have each Distributor go through each day's section, day by
day. Try to implement this material as you do your meetings.
- Work closely with your Distributors. Develop a schedule which
will allow you to plan around your needs as well as their needs. Help them build their
downline organizations. Help them to gain confidence and a sense of control over their
lives.
- Find what motivates your people. Keep them on the fast track
working the business daily. They will enjoy more success, become more professional, and
will take you right to the top along with them.
- Stay in touch with your Sponsor. He/she will keep you on the
fast track. Even though you are becoming more and more independent, your Sponsor remains a
key link in your ultimate Mutual Support Marketing performance.
- Continue to drive your marketing lines deep. The rule is
"Sponsor Wide and Train Deep."
- Work with your very best first-level Distributors.
- Work with your Distributor's best lines. Do two-on-one for
their sharpest, most committed second- level Distributors.
- You know you have a strong, solid network when your
organization starts to double without your having to do any personal recruiting.
Be professional in everything you do. Take a position of
strength. Be in control of each situation. You dictate the outcome of every encounter by
being enthusiastic, sincere, honest, and genuinely interested in their welfare. You must
also be empathetic, open-minded, and understanding.
B. Teach Your People
the Key to Personal Success! |
- Success is a step-by-step process. It is a journey, not a
destination. In order to achieve lasting success it is necessary to continually work on
self-development.
- You can always have more than what you now have because you
can become more than what you are. However, unless you are willing to get out of your
comfort zone and develop new personal skills and new attitudes, you will always have just
what you have now. When you understand and apply the keys to personal success you can
achieve whatever you want to achieve.
- You must first learn the basic, fundamental methods of
succeeding before you can truly master the specific skills of your profession and use
those skills to your full capacity.
- It's the same with the psychological barriers we place upon
ourselves. A Distributor committed to a winning pattern has three basic elements required
for success. KEYS to your personal success:
- Total commitment
- Self-discipline
- Persistence
An important way to fulfill your training responsibilities is
by personal example. In fact, setting a positive example in all you do is one of the vital
keys to being a successful NEWAYS leader. You can learn to lead. Your people will not
respond to group treatment but they can be motivated to greater effort through individual
attention. Take the time to explain what usually works well in a given situation and what
does not. Go over the techniques through which you have found your greatest success so
your new Distributors may benefit from them.
As a leader you must:
- Be goal directed and self-motivated.
- Lead by example; exercise and inspire initiative.
- Possess genuine self-confidence.
- Use creativity and imagination.
- Know how to motivate others to action.
- Support, encourage, recognize success of others.
- Keep a hands-on relationship with both your upline and
downline.
- Be the kind of Sponsor you would want yours to be.
These proven success methods and principles are available to
everyone, everywhere, and at an extremely low cost. They reside on the shelves of your
local library and corner book store. Some of history's greatest leaders, salesmen, public
speakers, positive thinkers, motivators, time managers, and entrepreneurs are there to
help guide you to success!

As Benjamin Franklin said: "If a man empties his purse into his head, no man can take
it away from him. An investment in knowledge always pays the best interest."
- Establish the affirmations: I am reading and putting into
practice concepts I am learning each and every day. I am spending a minimum of 30 minutes
each day on building my own self-image so I can more effectively help build self-esteem in
others.
- I am the master of my fate! I can determine the full measure
